The first ever competition for the region ’ s women ' s national teams , the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup , will be hosted four venues in three United States metropolitan areas .
The tournament ' s inaugural edition will be played between February 17 – March 10 , 2024 , and will include the participation of Concacaf ' s and
CONMEBOL ' s best women ' s national teams and some of the world ' s top players .
Just in time to serve as a good preparation for the Olympics . “ The Concacaf W Gold Cup is a key part of the Confederation ’ s women ’ s football strategy that we launched in 2019 , with the aim of developing and growing all aspects of the women ’ s game in our region . It promises to be a highquality tournament showcasing some of the best teams and players in the world ”, said Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani . “ I want to personally thank the four cities and venues for their commitment to Concacaf and women ’ s football . They will all make tremendous hosts for a competition celebrating the best of women ’ s football ,” added Montagliani .
