We congratulate MLS in its achievement of double milestone. February 22 was the official 2025 MLS season opening. A special season and opening. Its 30 th season featuring all 30 teams in the field in the same day. No midweek, no Friday and no Sunday. The ball rolled on Saturday for all 30 teams, including the debutant San Diego. And out of the 30 franchises, 12 will start with new coaches. Lots of expectation and guessing until D day.
CONCACAF got the preliminary rosters from the 2025 CONCACAF Nations League Finals. USMNT, the defending champion, is fiercely fighting for it and got one of the four final spots to dispute the Semifinals. And the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup Round 1 Game 2 is in full action to reveal the finalists.
SHEBELEAVES Cup brought in Japan, Colombia and Australia to help USWNT to inspire the girls in the U. S. and around the globe to believe in themselves.
Orlando Pride, the reigning champion and Supporters’ Shield winner celebrate their 10 th year of NWSL. The NWSL expanded to 16 teams with the two debutants, Boston and Denver, entering the League’ s action in 2026. And there is the NWSL Player’ s Restitution Fund another milestone in the women soccer.
This year, the Presidents’ Day fall on the 17 th. It’ s a federal holiday honoring the Presidents. Officially, it’ s designated as Washington’ s Birthday. Under the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, it is celebrated annually on the third Monday of February even though Washington was born on February 22.
It’ s the Black History Month, lets recognize and thank them for their contribution.
