For 56 young women soccer players a dream became reality when they got their foot at the door of their professional soccer career .
A fresh collection of talented players will join the National Women ' s Soccer League through 2024 . They come via the 2024 NWSL Draft that was held during the United Soccer Coaches Convention at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim , California on January 12 , 2024 .
200 + players from 137 schools . 95 of those schools have already been drafted . Still many more to be first timers . This year , there will be 56 total selections at the NWSL Draft that will see 14 selections in each of four rounds . See page list starting on page 13 .
